THE CLOUDESLEY

a luxury B&B, five star guest house in St Leonards-on-Sea, Hastings, East Sussex

Award-winning Eco-friendly guest house with five boutique hotel rooms, luxury beds, offering calm and relaxation and no television. Spa treatments and holistic therapies on offer include massage, reflexology, and reiki. Special diets are catered for including gluten-free, vegetarian as well as conventional cuisine for those who simply enjoy good food.

As far as possible, meals are sourced from local farms and organic when and where available. In the growing season, garden grown fruit, berries and herbs are offered to hotel guests. There are no microwaves and only Himalayan crystal salt is used in food preparation. Guest rooms have been painted in eco-limewash and three large solar panels provide hot water for showers.

The property has been designed by globally syndicated photographer and Chelsea Flower Show gold medal winner Shahriar Mazandi - Lalique Garden - Chelsea 2005 - View entry in Wikipedia.

In 2012 we are being recognised as one of the best B&Bs in the United Kingdom with a listing on the hotel and B&B website 'Britain's Finest', the AA's Britain's Best B&B Guide 2012 while another website 'enjoybedandbreakfast.com' has ranked us among the top twenty B&Bs in Britain (see below). Adding to this, read what The Times said about us: The great British Weekend.

From Enjoy Bed and Breakfast:

'Celebrating Britain's Finest B&Bs

In honour of the Queen's Jubilee, Enjoybedandbreakfast.com have hand-picked 60 of the finest B&Bs in Britain. Out of 1500+ B&B’s across England The Cloudesley has been selected. Not only that – The Cloudesley made it into the top 20. '
