Directions
The
hotel is approximately a seven minute walk from
St Leonards Warrior Square Train Station or
a one minute taxi ride. The journey is 90 minutes
from Charing Cross or 2 hours from Victoria
(when trains are running without disruptions).
The easiest route by car from Central London
and the West End is to drive to the end of the
King's road, crossing Putney Bridge and continuing
straight ahead on the A219 to the A3 roundabout
at Tibbet's Corner.
Stay
on the A3 to the Tolworth Roundabout, exit onto
the A240 and on to the A217 following all signs
to the M25 east (Gatwick), continuing on the
M25 until the A21 (Junction 5), then follow
all signs to Hastings.
Once
you arrive in Hastings, at the main roundabout
stay on the A21 to St Leonards-on-Sea - 2nd
turn - to Sedlescombe Road North - A21. Stay
on the A21 which becomes London road after the
left, downhill fork. At the next fork in the
road take the second turning - still London
road but now the A2102 until the multiple crossroads
at Tower Road. If you pass the MOT garage on
London Road you've gone too far.
Turn
left on Tower road (you will see the Tower pub
on the corner and Bedtime - a bed shop across
the street. Half-way down Tower road turn right
onto St Peter's Road and right again onto the
top of Cloudesley Road. The hotel is about a
third of the way downhill on your left.
Your
journey will last approximately two hours.
Unless
you are coming specifically from Croydon, do
not follow the instructions of your Tom Tom
if it advises you to go through Croydon as this
can add well over 45 minutes to your journey.
Likewise,
unless you are travelling from the East End,
Docklands, or The City, you may wish to avoid
the A20 via Lewisham which could add at least
an hour onto your journey from the West End.
From
The City, take the Blackwall Tunnel to the A102
and straight onto the A2, then M25 to A21 to
Hastings for a quicker route from The City.
